In this film, created during my time at the Berlin-based agency „Goldener Westen,“ the goal is to showcase the time of the Crusades from underrepresented and alternative perspectives, and to inspire audiences to further engage with the topic.
With the objective of making the diverse aspects of this historical period more widely known to the public, without the lens of Eurocentrism, the Museum of Islamic Art (ISL) plans to launch a new permanent exhibit area in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin starting in 2026, accompanied by films that bring to life the historical and geographical contexts, as well as abstract ideas and concepts.
My main role was to rig and animate the many characters featured in the intro and closing sequences of the film.
